With your own team
Working inside your commercial, finance or operational function, using your governance and your systems, so the capability stays with the people who will still be there afterwards.
Nexus Connect Limited has been trading since 2012, on procurement, contracts, supply chain and commercial transformation for organisations across the UK.
Nexus Connect works on the commercial side of organisations: what they buy, who they buy it from, what those arrangements cost, and whether the things they have committed to get delivered.
The clients are mostly organisations where a commercial decision has consequences beyond the balance sheet. Public sector bodies, NHS and care providers, hospices, housing associations, regulated utilities, and corporate organisations whose procurement function is under pressure.
The work ranges from a single re-tender through to multi-year commercial transformation. It covers the advice, the design, the sourcing and the delivery, and it is scoped so that one of those is never quietly assumed to include the others.
Nexus Connect is deliberately lean. There is no standing bench to keep occupied, so an engagement is staffed against the requirement rather than against a utilisation forecast, and the people who scope the work are the people who do it.
That is a structural choice, not a limitation. It is what allows a substantial programme to have experienced commercial judgement on it continuously, rather than at review points, and it is why the person who understood the problem in the first meeting is still there for the last one.
A contract review and a multi-year commercial transformation need different things. Rather than fit both to one delivery shape, Nexus Connect works in whichever of these four ways the engagement calls for, and often more than one across a programme.
Working inside your commercial, finance or operational function, using your governance and your systems, so the capability stays with the people who will still be there afterwards.
Experienced specialists brought in by name for a category, a technology, a jurisdiction or a volume of delivery. You are told who they are, and why, before they start.
Programmes rarely have one adviser on them. We take the commercial thread and work with the systems integrator, the legal advisers and the delivery partners already in place.
The commercial workstream inside a larger transformation, reporting into the programme's own governance rather than running a parallel one beside it.

Director
Adam is a procurement and transformation practitioner. His background covers procurement transformation, strategic sourcing, source-to-pay and procurement technology, programme delivery, commercial transformation, supplier and contract management, and operating model and change delivery.
He is a member of The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply, and his professional background is on LinkedIn. Enquiries that arrive through this site are read by him, and he is the person you meet at the first conversation.
Commercial problems get more expensive the longer they are described optimistically. If a programme is not going to land, or a saving is not real, you hear it from us first.
The right recommendation is sometimes a smaller piece of work than you came for, and occasionally none at all. Saying so is cheaper for everyone than the alternative.
Our reasoning, assumptions and evidence stay visible to the client. A recommendation you cannot interrogate is not much use when someone challenges it.
The measure of an engagement is whether the position holds once we stop: documentation, process, trained people and a named owner for whatever we put in place.
Procurement decisions carry ethical weight. They determine which organisations get paid, on what terms, and what conditions the people delivering the work operate under. Three commitments follow from that, and each of them is checkable.
Much of the work is commercially sensitive, so client names are not published here. In a conversation we can describe comparable assignments and, with permission, introduce you to someone who can speak to them.
Enquiries reach Adam Parry directly, usually answered within one working day. Email works just as well as the form.
