What we do, and when it is worth doing.
Six areas of work. Most engagements draw on more than one of them, and the first conversation is usually about establishing which.
Two quite different things, often confused.
Some of this work is advisory: reviewing a position, designing an approach, telling you what the options actually cost. Some of it is delivery: running the tender, holding the supplier to account, sitting in the governance meeting every fortnight until the thing is done.
Engagements are scoped as one or the other, or explicitly as both, because the difference determines who is accountable when something goes wrong. It is worth being clear about at the start.
Most enquiries do not arrive labelled with one of these.
They arrive as a contract nobody has re-tendered, a programme that has drifted, or a cost line that has moved without explanation. Describe it in those terms and the service name will look after itself.
